Name Of the Post :

(1)Sub-Inspector (Technical):

Eligibility : Ex-Navy / Ex-Coast Guard/Ex-BSF (waterwing) Personnel.

Qualification:

(i) Chief Petty Officer / Petty Officer in the Navy, Seaman Branch only (Navigation, Communication, Gunnery, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Clearance Driver and Survey
Recorders) [for Ex-Navy personnel].
(ii) Adhikari / Pradhan Navik in Coast Guard, GD Branch only [for En-Coast Guard Personnel]
(iii) 02 (two) years experience in B.S.F. (waterwing) as Sub-Inspector [for Ex-BSF(waterwing) personnel]

Age : Not exceeding 45 years as on 1st January, 2013.

(2) Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Technical) :

Eligibility: Ex-Navy /Ex-Coast Guard /Ex-BSF (waterwing) Personnel

Qualification:-

(i)(a) Petty Officer in Navy, Seaman Branch only (Navigation, Communication, Gunnery, Anti Submarine Warfare, Clearance Driver and Survey Recorders) [for Ex-Navy personnel],
(b) Artificer III/IV, Mechanic III/IV, Mechanic (Power / Radio), Petty Officer Electrical Radio)in Navy in technical branch (non-aviation sailor only) [for Ex-Navy personnel].
(ii)(a) Pradhan Navik in Coast Guard, GD Branch only [Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].
OR
(b) Yantrik / Uttain Yantrlk in Coast Guard, technical branch only [for Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].
(2)(ii) 03 (three) years experience in B.S F. (water wing) as Asst. Sub-Inspector [for Ex BSF (Water wing) personnel]

Age:- Not exceeding 45 years as on 1st January, 2013


(3) Constable (Technical) :

Eligibility:- Ex-Navy/Ex-Coast Guard / Ex-BSF (waterwing) Personnel

Qualification:

(i)Leading Seaman / Seaman-1 / Seaman-II in Navy equivalent,all branches) [for Ex-Navy personnel].
(ii)Uttam Navik / Navik in Coast Guard, only GD / Technical Branch [for Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].
(iii)03 (tree) years experience in B.S.F, (water wing) as Constable [for Ex-BSF (water wing) personnel].

Age:- Not exceeding 45 years as on 1st January, 2013.


Number of Posts:-
1. Sub-Inspector (Technical) - 9 post
2. Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Technical) - 9 post
3. Constable. (Technical) - 29 post


Salary (Rs.) : 


1. Sub-Inspector (Technical)-29,000/-
2. Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Technical)- 22,000/-
3. Constable. (Technical) -18,000/-

Willing candidates may download the Application Form from West Bengal Police website (policewb.gov.in) and get it printed on120 gsm A4 size paper and fill in the same and affix stamp size photograph on the space provided for. Candidates have to enclose certificate as a proof of Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Discharge Certificate issued by the previous employer and send the same by post to “The Chairman, West Bengal Police Recruitment Board, Araksha Bhavan (5th Floor), Block-DJ, Sector-II, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700 091”candidates must superscribe the envelope containing the application for ms with words “DO NOT FOLD DOG EAR OR OTHERWISE DAMAGE THIS ENVELOPE OR ITS CONT
ENTS”.The candidates under category Unreserved, OBC-A and OBC-B will enclose IPO/ Bank Draft for Rs. 150/- (One hundred fifty) as examination fees to be drawn in favor of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board. Candidates from SC/ST category need not pay Application fees. However, the SC and ST candidates from other States will be treated as Unreserved Category and need to pay the requisite fees.
